Web Marketing Checklist

checklistTrying to stay up to date on web design is like trying to eat a large bowl of pasta. Every time you take a bite out of the pasta it just fills in again. Same with websites. Every time you feel like you really understand the site it fills in more information.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a checklist, just like on our cleaning vans, that you could go through and make sure everything is complete. Well today is your lucky day.

Stoney deGeyter compiled the “Best Damn Web Marketing Checklist, Period!” It contains 400 items in over twenty-three topics including domain names, site design, navigation, links, and buttons. The posting is from 2008, so it doesn’t include anything on Twitter, but it’s great nonetheless.

This site was recommended by Guy Kawasaki on his www.alltop.com site. Of course that is a whole other subject. But if Guy says it’s cool, you can believe it is cool. Check it out and see what you think. Now I am going to try to finish my pasta.
